"Airplane" was a Soviet aviation magazine of the Central Council of the Union of OSOAVIAHIM of the USSR. This issue's artwork includes photographs taken by V Tukkel for the articles entitled "Wider Road to Soviet Planning", "What Glider Activists Say" and "Excellent Students", photographs by I Shagyn for the article "Soviet Aviation Intelligence", photographs by M Klimenkov for the article "Hero of the Soviet Union S A Dalinin". Fair condition. Frayed spine, rubbings, prominent water staining on the front and back covers. Creases and tears on the margins. Pencil remarks on the front page. Published by "Redizdat CS OSOAVIAHIM of the USSR" in Moscow, 1939. 31 pages.
