Issue № 5, 1941 of "Ogonek", Soviet sociopolitical and literary-artistic illustrated weekly magazine, one of the oldest in Soviet history. Edited by Mikhail Koltsov, Soviet Journalist, Bolshevik Revolutionary and an NKVD Agent, Koltsov founded popular magazines such as "Krokodil", "Chudak", "Sovetskoe Foto" and "Ogonek". This issue's artwork includes photos by M Alpert, photo of I Stalin by V Musinov, photos by O Knorring for the article "Culture Factor", photos by Yu Govorov for the article "Great Topic", illustrations by L Brodaty for the article "Pages of the Past", photos by S Shingarev, A Vorotinsky, L Dorensky, illustrations by K Ferster. Published by the publishing house "Pravda". Fair condition. Frayed spine, rubbings and staining, creases on the corners. Library stamp on the front cover. The back cover is detached. 24 pages.
