The magazine was issued by the Regional Department for Political Education and is replete with in-depth coverage of current movements and productions, mostly in Leningrad, with profiles of prominent actors and directors. This issue includes articles such as "Ten Years Work for the Children" by E Volkova, "Garshin and Modernity" by B Valiebe, "Russian Suburban Architecture" by N Kojin, "Salamanca Cave" by S Mokulsky.
