Mirror to Russia

Dust cover has a picture by unknown artist of Rostov Kremlin. Blue cover has black embossed stamp. A unique travel book was written after the Second World War when authorities wouldn't let any visitors from West into Russia. Visiting war-ruined places, as well as splendid memorials of medieval Russia that survived the invasion. Has big variety of pictures featuring contemporary scenes from Russia. Book is in a very good condition, minor discoloration on the spine of the book. Little stain next to a stamp on the cover. Pages and pictures are in good condition. Small pencil note on a flyleaf. Dust cover in poor condition,losses of paper and creases. Published by Country Life Limited in 1952. 248 pages.
