The book is richly illustrated with views of the "Stalinist" Moscow, which was in the most active phase of its transformation. The book contains articles including "Moscow's past" by N Ashunyn, "Way to October" by N Potemkin, "The most interesting city in the world" by V Durant, "I love Moscow" by F Gladkov, "Moscow gets prettier" by A Bah, "I am proud to be Komsomol" by N Kamneva, "The first capital of the world" by A Tolstoy, "Soviet palace" by B Iofan, "The City of Science" by A Shusev. Illustrations by Evg Burgunker, Soviet painter and graphic artist who was engaged in an easel, book graphics, ex libris. He worked in the technique of woodcuts.
