Book written by Ilya Ehrenburg and edited by El Lissitzky. Ehrenburg was Russian Soviet writer of Jewish descent, Bolshevik revolutionary, journalist and historian. He is among the most prolific and notable authors of the Soviet Union; he published around one hundred titles. He became known first and foremost as a novelist and a journalist – in particular, as a reporter in three wars. Lissitzky was a Russian artist, designer, photographer, typographer, polemicist and architect. He was an important figure of the Russian avant-garde, helping develop suprematism with his mentor, Kazimir Malevich, and designing numerous exhibition displays and propaganda works for the Soviet Union. Abundant amount of pictures from day to day life of Parisians captured by Ilya Ehrenburg. published by OZOGIZ, 5000 copies.
