New Spectator Novyi Zritel #3 1926

Dated 19 January, 1926, this is the third volume of the weekly magazine "Novyi Zritel'" ["The New Spectator"], printed in a run of 24 000 copies and published in Moscow. The publication is about theatre, it contains essays, such as this issue's "Theatre of the Revolution 1925 - 1926;" alongside reviews from all-Moscow theatres. Occasional short literature-related texts are to be found. The playbill of upcoming performances in Moscow theatres and cinemas forms a large part of the magazine. Excellent condition, original colours of the covers preserved, paper faded, light tears on the edges. 34 pages.
