Soviet magazine New Spectator issue number 10, 1926. A theatre, film, stage and circus magazine, first published in Moscow. It contains reviews of what's on in the theatres and cinemas of Moscow. Great constructivist photo-montage cover with designs for a concert of a jazz band by Boris Zemenkov, graphic designer, writer, local historian, one of the founders of the Association of Artists "Genesis" (1925-1929), a member of the akhr (1929-1931). Stage and costume designs for a play at the State Jewish Theatre by A. Taldykin. Illustrated with photos and sketches of film and theatre stars and stage designs. Good condition, light bumps on corners, soiling on covers, slightly frayed front cover, 34 pages.
