Set of four officially approved postcards from New York World's Fair 1939. The postcards show pictures of architecture from the fair: the Electrical Products Building, the Du Pont Building at the Exposition, the United States Steel Building, and the Trylon and Perisphere buildings. Great images reproduced in bright colours. The theme of the exposition was the future, and more than 44 million people attended over the two seasons. Very good condition, a very small stain on the United States Steel building postcard, and a very small stain on the reverse of the Trylon and Perisphere postcard. Backs of the cards are blank with space to write a message on the left and the address on the right below the postage stamp box with descriptions of the featured buildings and structures including information about the builders, architects and designers, and the Trylon and Perisphere logo above.
