Nursery Rhymes ABC

Original vintage children literature book Nursery Rhymes ABC in English. A nursery rhyme is a traditional poem or song for children in Britain and many other countries, but usage of the term dates only from the late 18th/early 19th century. The book includes nursery rhyme in alphabetic order for letters A-W with some famous nursery rhymes such as "Pussy cat, Pussy cat", the earliest record of the rhyme is publication in Songs for the Nursery, printed in London in 1805; "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep", the earliest printed version of which dates from around 1744 and others. Published in the UK, 18 pages. Very good condition, minor browning.
