Pamphlet talks about movie "The Spanish Dancer", Pola Negri's part in it as a gypsy fortune teller and creators of the movie. This American silent costume epic movie made in 1923, directed by Herbert Brenon and also features a five-year-old Anne Shirley, appearing under the name "Dawn O'Day." Herbert Brenon was an Irish film director, actor and screenwriter during the era of silent movies through the 1930's. Antonio Moreno played a romantic count, Wallace Beery played the king of Spain. Pola Negri, Polish stage and film actress who achieved worldwide fame during the silent and golden eras of Hollywood and European film for her tragedienne and femme fatale roles. Negri ended up becoming one of the most popular Hollywood actresses of the era, and certainly the richest woman of the film industry at the time. Contains photographs and stills from the movies.
