Akademicheskih Teatrov). Soviet constructivist weekly periodical on theatre, includes articles on notable plays and actors and directors. The cover features a photo of V.V. Krieger (1895-1978), a theatrical figure, ballerina, and ballet critic. Founder and artistic director of the troupe "Moscow Artistic Ballet". This issue includes articles about empty halls at theatre performances; plays in the Jewish State Studio; the fifth concert season of the Persimfans orchestra, which existed in Moscow from 1922 to 1932. Persimfans was the first symphony orchestra in the history of academic music without a conductor; the role of Valentina Kudryavtseva in Swan Lake; 150th anniversary of Denis Diderot's book the Paradox of the Actor; new films and theatrical premieres, illustrated by photos and drawings and several advertising pages.
