Issue #12 (34) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 30 June 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The cover features a portrait of Ruth Fischer, the German delegate to the Comintern Congress. Inside, the magazine includes The Wonderful Adventures of Tailor Fokin by V Ivanov, illustrated by K Rotov, portraits of 'Leaders of the International Proletariat' showing delegates at the 5th International Comintern Congress, short stories, a report on the assassination of Giacomo Matteotti, and a map of the USSR. Fair condition, tears, creasing, staining and marks on cover, no staples.
