Prozhektor № 5 (27), Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, published 18 March 1924. Prozhektor was published in Moscow as a supplement to the newspaper Pravda in 1923-1935. The cover is dedicated to 'The Five Year Anniversary of the Comintern', with a large photo of G. Zinoviev, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Comintern. The Communist International, or Third International (1919–1943) was an international organisation controlled by the Soviet government which advocated world communism. Contains great images of Lenin at the Congress of the Comintern with Italian delegates, large photos of revolutionary organisations in the far East and Baku, a great photo of the socialist John Reed, author of Ten Days That Shook the World in the obituary section, and a feature dedicated to celebrations of International Workers Day, with photos. Also contains a double page spread with large photos from the Krasnoshekovich brothers' trial. Photography by Goskino and V. Savelev. Fair condition, small tears, staining.
