Issue #28 (146) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 8 July 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. This issue features artwork and photography by M Alpert, V Savelev, N Peterson, A Samsonov, Y Ganf, K Rotov, A Kaspy, K Eliseyev and A Deyneka. Articles focus on defense, with a photo of an explosion and the caption The Red Army is Ready to Defend Itself; a music festival in St Petersburg; the Tuaps construction site. Also features poems, short stories, current affairs articles, advertisements. Very good condition, some page corners folded over, minor browning.
