Prozhektor #3 1928

Issue #3 (121) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 15 January 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. This issue includes colour drawings and cartoons by A Deyneka, B Efimov, K Eliseyev, and G Schlichter, as well as a variety of photos, articles, storys and advrets. Features a section devoted to Karl Liebnecht, a German Socialist politican, known for opposing Germany's involvement in WW1 and for his role in the Spartacist uprising in January in 1919; following his death he was seen as a martyr for the socialist cause. The magazine also includes photos showing off new appartment blocks and an article titled 'Jews on the Land'. Good condition, foxing, staining, cover torn along the spine.
