Prozhektor #30 1928

Issue #30 (148) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 22 July 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The cover features a photo of two women writing in a school in Uzbekistan, taken by I Shukhotovich. Inside, the issue includes photos of children celebrating the international day of cooperation, a cartoon by Kukryniksy, an article about the literary and social critic Nikolay Chernyshevsky, photos of the Baltic Navy, a short story by A Zorich illustrated by A Deyneka, and a feature about sport in America. Also includes drawings, poetry, current affairs articles and advertisements. Good condition, minor markings, foxing, minor tears and creasing on page edges.
