Prozhektor #37 1928

Issue #37 (155) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 9 September 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. This issue includes a feature on Tolstoy, with photographs of Tolstoy in his home Yasnaya Polyana and with his family. Articles discuss his life, where he lived, and the Tolstoy Museum. A double page spread is dedicated to photos of the 5th World Congress of the Young Communist International. Also includes an article focused on communist protests in Leipzig, photos of a sports event, and artwork by Kukryniksy, Y Ganf and Y Pimenov. Very good condition,minor staining, minor foxing.
