Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 10, 6th March 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. The front cover is a section of a painting 'Young Workers' by K F Yoon, the back cover advertises the newspaper 'News' and the magazines 'Redfield' and 'New World'. Inside this edition are articles about 'The Circus' and another on 'The Eighth of March' whichis celebrated as International Women's Day. List of artwork inside: a drawing entitled 'Mother' by N Kupreyahov; a painting entitled Greeting of a Worker Woman' by A Strakhov; a photomontage of 'Women in Public Work'; a caricature of the writer Ivan Evodokimov by E Mandelberg. Fair condition, cuts and wear along the spine, faint stamp mark on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume, top edge of magazine cropped. 24 pages.
