Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 16, 17th April 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Biweekly magazine. A painting by P Komova of a Turkish revolutionary, advertisements for new releases from Soviet film house ‘Gosvoenkino’ on the back cover. This edition includes stories ‘Seedling’ and ‘The Fourth Tower’. It also features an expose on ‘The Return of Lenin’ and a feature on Gleb Uspensky, the Russian writer and figure in the Narodnik movement.
