Soviet weekly magazine Red Field, issue №31, 20 July 1930. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Constructivist cover by Deni, Russian satirist, cartoonist and poster artist. Deni was one of the major agitprop poster artists of the Bolshevist period. This issue contains articles: "Leader reports to the party and country", "Soviet diary", "International review", "Musical creativity of nations" by E. Braudo, Russian musicologist, publicist, translator. Honoured Artist of the RSFSR; "Children of America and Europe" by I. Elvin; "Factory raid" by S. Borisov, essay "Porcelain doll case" by N. Ashukin, Russian poet, literary critic, literary critic, literary historian, specialist in the field of Moscow regional studies. Contains many pictures. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK". Good condition, minor loss of material and rubbings on the spine and on the margins, staining, dusting, minor bent of the corners. Rusty staples. Pencil handwriting on the top of the back cover. 20 pages.
