Soviet weekly magazine Red Field, issue №24, 3 June 1928. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Constructivist cover has original painting made specially for Red Niva by M. Cheremnykh, Soviet graphic, cartoonist, book illustrator, poster master. This edition includes story "Happy Aarif" by P. Pavlenko, Russian Soviet writer and screenwriter, journalist, special correspondent, one of most famous cultural figure of the Stalin era; article "Exhibition of Vkhutein", article "Pushkin's people" from unpublished materials by P. Shegolev, historian of literature and social movement, Pushkinist; essay "In Chinese theatre" by Yu. Sobolev, Russian Soviet literary critic and theatre expert; article "Did you know?". This issue illustrated by P. Alyakinsky, Soviet graphic artist, poster artist, illustrator; N. Rogachev, Russian and Soviet artist, graphic artist, teacher, stage designer and K. Eliseev, Russian Soviet graphic artist and theatre and film artist. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK", 110 000 copies. Poor condition, cover and pages are detached. Staples are missing. Tears and loss of material on the spine. Minor dusting, rubbings and staining. Cancelled library stamp on the back cover. Pencil handwriting on the last page. Bottom edge is slightly trimmed. Staples are missing. Was part of bound yearly volume. 20 pages.
