Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 26, 26th June 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Biweekly magazine. A painting by V Serov entitled ‘Sunlit Girl’, a still life of fruit on the back cover by I Mashikov. This edition includes the story ‘Buried Treasure’ by N Lyashko, and articles ‘Across the Black Sea’, as well as a full length feature on Y M Yurev. List of some artwork inside: a photograph entitled ‘In the Odessan Port’ by I Shekkera; a cartoon of the poet and artist Pavel Padimov by Kukryniksy. Fair condition, cuts and wear along the spine, faint stamp mark on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume, front and back covers detached. 24 pages.
