Soviet weekly magazine Red Field, issue №27, 1 July 1928. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Constructivist cover has original painting "At the village cooperative" made specially for Red Niva by R. Frentz, Soviet and Russian painter, watercolorist, graphic artist, illustrator, and art teacher. This issue contains story "Flowers and berries" by Soviet and Russian writer known for his descriptions of Siberia; article "On the border of the unexplored area" by V. Erofeev, "Nobile expedition searches" by M. Belyakov, story "Doberman" by M. Kozurev, article "Painter Frentz" by S. Isakov, "Last colonel Romanov's move", humoresque "Different and independent" by P. Bankov. Illustrated by such artists S. Magaziner, N. Petrov, R. Frentz, K. Rotov, Soviet graphic artist, cartoonist, book illustrator; K. Kuznetsov, Russian and Soviet artist, book illustrator, engraver and animator. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK", 110 000 copies. Poor condition, cover and pages are detached. Staples are missing. Was part of bound yearly volume. Tears and loss of material on the spine. Minor dusting, rubbings and staining. Pencil handwriting on the last page.
