Soviet Magazine Красная Нива (Krasnaya Niva / Red Field), issue number 28, 10th July 1927. Krasnaya Niva was a weekly satirical magazine, first published by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union in 1922.

The cover features a cartoon by notable Soviet caricaturist Deni, titled ‘White Terror’. The back cover features a second cartoon by Deni, titled 'Conservative Bouquet'. This edition includes the stories ‘Yashka’ and ‘Concert’ as well as the poems ‘Fair’ and ‘Excursions in the Tavrid’. List of some artwork inside: a painting ‘In the World’s Arena’ by E Mandelberg; a photograph of the ‘Red Army in the Camp’ by N Petrov; a painting by E Mandelberg depicting the arms of the English militia stretching into the USSR; an article titled 'Evil Genius of Britain - Winston Churchill'. Good condition, cuts and wear along the spine, faint stamp mark on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume. 24 pages.
