Soviet weekly magazine Red Field, issue №28, 8 July 1928. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Constructivist cover has original painting "Ukrainian girl" by S. Prokhorov, Russian and Ukrainian Soviet painter and teacher. Illustrated by various artists, such as N. Padalitsin, L. Bure, I. Mazel and G. Gyurdzhan, Armenian painter, national artist of the Armenian SSR. This issue contains article "By the hand of the teacher and leader", "Big construction site", "Poets of Soviet country", "In native language", excerpt "Factory" from story "Brothers" by I. Mikitenko, Ukrainian Soviet writer and playwright; "Art of the people of USSR", essay "Soviet Eurasia" by I. Naumov. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK", 110 000 copies. Poor condition, cover and pages are detached. Staples are missing. Was part of bound yearly volume. Tears and loss of material on the spine. Minor dusting, rubbings and staining. 24 pages
