Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 29, 17th July 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A painting of a Red Army cavalry soldier entitled 'Alarm Drill' by P Pokarzhevsky on the front cover, another painting 'Dragonfly' by I Repin on the back cover. This edition includes the story 'Confusion' by A Bibik and a song by Peter Orishin. It also includes articles 'On the Military Post' and '10 Years'. List of some artwork inside: a photograph of K Boroshilov by V Loboda; a drawing 'In the Rifle Circle' by P Shmina; a photomontage 'The Solar Eclipse'. Fair condition, cuts and wear along the spine, faint stamp mark on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume, cropped on top and bottom edge. 24 pages.
