Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 29, 15th July 1928. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A painting of a girl with a rifle on the front cover alongside the phrase 'How to become a Sharp Shooter?'. Various advertisements on the back cover. This edition includes the illustrated short story 'Castle on the Rhine' by L Pasinkov and the article 'White Adventurer' by A Kosgitsin. List of some artwork inside: a photograph entitled 'Pre-conscription preparation in the Chuvash Sky Region' by A Kostin; a photograph 'In the Camps' by D Debabov; various cartoon in the 'Foreign Humour' section at the back of the magazine. Fair condition, cuts and wear along the spine, faint stamp mark on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume. 20 pages.
