Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 3, 16th January 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. The fron cover features an illustration by A Deyneka with three skiers in blue and red, advertisements for 'New World' magazine on the back cover. Articles in this edition include 'On the Light Lakes' and 'Feminine Delight'. It also features verse, including the poems 'February' and 'Meditation'. List of artwork inside: a photograph from the Urals taken by A Uglov; a drawing by K Rotov 'The Suburbs of Moscow'; various drawings and photographs accompanying the article 'The Artists' Workshops' including a portrait of Chekov by T Stemashko. Full page anti-imperialist drawing "Face of Fascism" by V Deni. Fair condition, spine frayed and pages inside loose, a faint stamp mark on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume. 24 pages.
