Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 30, 24th July 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A painting 'Day of Relaxation' by N Denisovsky on the front cover. A painting 'Vegetable Market' by BV Yakovlev on the back cover. This edition includes a poem 'About the Aeroplane' by B Kovinev and the short stories 'Guest' by A Karabaev and 'American in Europe' by A Arosev. It also features an extended article 'About the USSR' describing recent events in the country. List of some artwork inside: a photograph of 'Working Youths in the Rifle Range' by N Petrov; illustrations by M Cheremnykh to accompany the short story 'Guest'; a drawing by V Deni of 'Comrade Bukharin at Work'.
