Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 31, 29th July 1928. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A painting of three peasants on the front cover, various advertisements on the back cover. This edition includes illustrated stories 'Women' by I Evdokimov and 'Je-Lan' by Y Ctrauyan. It also features an article on 'Cinema in the Village' and a 'Song for the Fishing Afterlife'. List of some artwork inside: a photograph from the sixth international Communist Congress provided by Press-Klish; illustrations to accompany the article 'Women' by Staroposov; illustrations by A Topikog to accompany the article 'Je-Lan'; a painting 'Holiday in the Village' by K Yoon; a painting 'Peasant Woman with a Calf' by A G Venitsanov. Fair condition, cuts and wear along the spine, faint stamp mark on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume. 20 pages.
