Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 32, 7th August 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A painting 'The Delegate' by G Pyazsky on the front cover, another painting 'At the Prison' by S V Ivanov on the back cover. This edition includes a double spread feature on the town 'Rostov-on-the-Don' and an article on chess entitled 'There, where Chess is done'. List of some artwork inside: photographs by N Petrov to accompany the article 'There, where Chess is done'; a photograph by G Gushina 'Bazar in the Village', full page drawing by A. Deyneka On Rest and illustrations by S Chekhonin. Fair condition, cuts and wear along the spine, a faint stamp mark on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume. 24 pages.
