Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 34, 21st August 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A painting by K Yoon entitled 'In the Field' on the front cover, another painting 'Village Love' by Le Page on the back cover. This edition includes articles entitled 'Inadvertent Joy' as well as a feature on the 'Soviet Fair' in Makarvsky. There is also a collection of verse,including the poems 'On Parting' and 'Icy Gardens'. List of artwork inside: photographs of 'The Protest against the Imperial Wars' and 'The Women's Conference'; a photograph of the Moscow proletariat demonstration in defence of Sakko and Vantsettin by N Petrov; a full page parody portrait of the Head on the Nizhny Novgorod Fair S V Malyshev by V Deni. Fair condition, paper loss on back cover, spine frayed, cropped along the top and bottom edges, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume. 24 pages.
