Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 35, 25th August 1929. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A striking painting of a peasant woman on the front cover by V Kostryanitsin entitled 'You give crops', a bold advertisement for the pencil factory Dessin on the back cover. This edition includes articles entitled 'Europe at one's feet', and 'Third Oil'. List of some artwork inside: a feature entitled 'From the Artistic Life' depicting various artworks; a 'modern engraving' by I Lass entitled 'Sugar Factory'; a 'modern graphic' by U Pimenov entitled 'Hamburg'. Fair condition, back cover stained, and indents from attempted hole-punching. Inside, stains around the staples, otherwise, very good, trimmed along margins. 24 pages.
