Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 36, 4th September 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A vivid landscape painting by M Saryana entitled 'In Armenia' on the front cover, another landscape by P Kuzhetsov on the back cover entitled 'In Buhrain. Included in this edition are the stories 'In the Crimean Mountains' by A Serafimov and 'Golden Cobwebs' by P Oreshin. It also features a letter by A Bezimensky and an article 'Revolutionary Growths'. List of some artwork inside: a drawing entitled 'The 13th International Youth Day' by P Shuhmin; illustrations by N Gatilov to accompany the story 'Golden Cobwebs'; a painting by V Deni of the Statue of Liberty. Fair condition, cuts and wear along the spine, stamp on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume, pages 11-14 are loose, small tear on the bottom edge of the back cover, magazine is cropped on the top edge. 24 pages.
