Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 37, 11th September 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A brightly coloured drawing of two athletes on the front cover by Y Pimenov, a landscape by A Pervov entitled 'Meeting of the Red Army in a Village' on the back cover. This edition includes the short stories 'Repetition' by S Polyachev and 'Slave' by Valentin Kataev. There are also features including an article on the English sport of football and another on 'Pavlov's Park'.
