Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 38, 18th September 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A painting of a 'Bashkir Komsomol Member' by F Lehm on the front cover, a painting of two riders by I Sharleman entitled Races in Tbilisi (Tiflis) Georgia on the back cover. Inside this edition is a feature on Sun Zi-Lin in Moscow as well as short stories 'Swing' by S Grigorev and 'Poisoned Joy' by U Yanopolsky. List of some artwork inside: a photograph of Sun Zi-Lin; illustrations to accompany the article 'Swing' by Kukrinik; a photograph by V Loboda to accompany the article 'Poisoned Joy'. One page photomontage on International Youth Day demostration in Moscow. Good condition, small fold on bottom corner of back cover, faint stamp mark on back cover, cuts along the spine, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume. 24 pages.
