Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 41, 9th October 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A portrait of D Furmanov on the front cover by S V Malyutin, a pastoral scene on the back cover depicting peasant women collecting the harvest, entitled 'Harvest' by J Rozhdestvensky. Included in this edition, which is dedicated to the 'New Woman' are the short stories 'Leader' by S Sergei-Tsensky and 'Rabbits' by D Yeremin. there is also a feature on 'The Emancipation of Soviet Women'. List of some artwork inside: a poster celebrating '10 Years Since October' from the academy of artists; famous poster entitled 'The New Woman' by A Strakhov. Fair condition, cuts and wear along the spine, stamp on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume. 24 pages.
