Soviet weekly magazine Red Field, issue number 44, 4th Nov 1923. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Constructivist cover featuring Lenin's portrait. Issue is dedicated to 6th year anniversary of October Revolution. Contains excerpt from the story "Sevastopol" by A. Malyshkin, Russian Soviet writer, classic of socialist realism; excerpt from a novel "Inventors of the idol" written by S. Bobrov, Russian poet, literary critic, translator, artist, mathematician and poet, one of the organisers of Russian futurism, populariser of science. Poem "In October" by Petr Oreshin, Russian and Soviet poet and prose writer. The main directions of his work are the poetization of nature, rural life. Photographs by G. Goldshtein, Russian and Soviet photographer, artist, author of several famous photographs of V.I. Lenin, and Ya. Steinberg, Russian and Soviet photographer, master of reportage and portrait photography, teacher. Author of photographs about the First World War, the February and October Revolutions of 1917, photo portraits of famous figures of art and politics.
