Soviet weekly magazine Red Field, issue №52, 28 Dec 1928. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Constructivist cover. Issue is dedicated to 30th anniversary of Moscow art theatre, containing such article: "30 years of art theatre" by A. Lunacharsky, Russian revolutionary, Soviet statesman, writer, translator, publicist and art critic; "In 1898. From memories of honoured artist of The Moscow Art Theatre A. Vishnevsky", he is Russian Soviet actor, one of the founders of the Moscow Art Theatre. Essay "The birth of art theatre" by Yu. Sobolev, "About Art Theatre" talking about board members and actors of the theatre; "Troupe of Art Theatre 1898-1928", "Сhronicle of the art theatre". Other articles includes "After the Tunguz meteorite", essay "IPR" by Austrian novelist, playwright, journalist and biographer, illustrated by Yu. Pimenov, Russian and Soviet painter, theatre designer, master of the Soviet advertising poster, essay writer. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK", 110 000 copies. Poor condition, cover and pages are detached. Staples are missing. Was part of bound yearly volume. Tears and loss of material on the spine and on margins. Dusting, rubbings and staining. Cancelled library stamp on the back cover. 24 pages.
