Soviet weekly magazine Red Field, issue №46, 18 Nov 1928. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. This issue contains "Stories huntsman" by M. Prishvin, Russian writer, prose writer and publicist; "Red poppy" by V. Ostroumov; article "Our painters" by N. Punin, essay "Ganja" by A. Ozersky, essay "At the former bottom", article "On the eve of the energy revolution", "Letters about literature" by D. Gorbov, article "What is new in literature", "Winter is coming" and ""Satire and humour". Illustrated by various artist, such as V. Betkheev, N. Tursa, N. Petrov, M Utrillo, French landscape painter; Deni, Russian satirist, cartoonist and poster artist. Deni was one of the major agitprop poster artists of the Bolshevist period; E. Zernova, Soviet artist. Honoured Artist of the RSFSR. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK", 110 000 copies. Fair condition, loss of material, tears and rubbings on the spine and on the margins. Staining, dusting, minor bent of the corners. Cancelled library stamp on the back cover. Staples are missing. Was part of bound yearly volume. Some pages are partially detached. 20 pages.
