A stunning painting of a Cossack soldier on the front cover, various advertisements on the back cover. Inside this edition are the short stories 'Family Romance' by V Verasaev and 'Master' by S Kosov alongside the poem 'Funeral' by V Aleksandrovsky. List of some artwork inside: an etching by S Boichuk-Nalepinsky 'Forward to the Outset of War'; illustrations by S Deyneka to accompany the short story 'Family Romance'; photomontage 'Exhibition of Metalwork'.
