Soviet weekly magazine Red Field, issue №51, 16 Dec 1928. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Constructivist cover has original painting "Kremlin in winter" made for Red Niva by A. Kravchenko, Russian, Soviet artist, painter and graphic artist and illustrator. This issue contains story "Ladonka" by A. Drazdov, poem "Crimea sketches" by I. Selvinsky, Soviet Jewish poet, dramatist, memoirist, and essayist born in Simferopol, Crimea; essay "Feather and trim" by D. Fibikh, essay "Friend of the people" by L. Nikulin, "Workers of Humburg" E. Lomtatidze, "Letters about literature" by D. Gorbov, essay "Boycott". Illustrated by various artist, such as N. Petrov, G. Filipovsky, A. Labas, B. Titov, Soviet graphic artist, illustrator, book designer. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK", 110 000 copies. Poor condition, cover and some pages are detached or partially detached. Loss of material, tears and rubbings on the spine and on the margins. Staining, dusting, minor bent of the corners. Faded cancelled library stamp on the back cover. Staples are missing. Was part of bound yearly volume. 20 pages.
