Portrait of Pushkin by O Kiprensky on the front cover, various advertisements on the back cover. This edition focuses on the life of Pushkin and articles inside include ‘Pushkin and Modernity’, ‘Nikolas the 1st and Pushkin’s Duel’ and another feature ‘The Unreleased Letter about the Death of Pushkin’. List of some artwork inside: illustrations accompanying most articles; a drawing of Pushkin by V Serov; a painting depicting Pushkin’s duel by A A Naumov; a large photograph of G I Petrovsky, caricature of Kerensky by K Eliseev to coincide with announcement of his marriage to a rich American lady. Fair condition, cuts and wear along the spine, faint stamp mark on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume. 24 pages.
