Soviet Magazine Red Field, issue number 9, 27th February 1927. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A Shigenabu colour engraving 'In Japan' reproduced on the front cover, an advertisement for the magazine 'New World' on the back cover. Inside this edition are a collection of unreleased verses from Sergei Yesenina as well as another poem 'The History of One Afternoon' by G Petnikov, an article on the Zemstvo Order and another entitled 'Pig'. List of some artwork inside: a painting of Red Square in Moscow by A M Vasnetsov; a painting by B Berendgof entitled 'Winter'; a drawing of two old women by M Cheremnykh. Fair condition, cuts and wear along the spine, faint stamp mark on the back cover, unbound copy from a yearly subscription volume. 24 pages.
