Original vintage Soviet Magazine Krasnaya Niva / Red Field, issue number 45, 10th November 1929. Krasnaya Niva was a biweekly magazine, first published by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union in 1922. The cover features the artwork "Building" by V. Kulagina, a Russian painter and book, poster, and exhibition designer. This edition includes articles about the 12th anniversary of October Revolution Day; education in the Soviet Union; mine construction, several poems, photographs, and illustrations by such artists as Frans Masereel, was a Flemish painter and graphic artist, known especially for his woodcuts focused on political and social issues, such as war and capitalism; work of the Soviet artists; advertising and others. Published by Izvestiya, published by Anatoly Lunacharsky, a Russian Marxist revolutionary and the first Bolshevik Soviet People's Commissar, 26 pages. Fair condition, rusted staples, tears on the cover and some pages, foxing, stain, creasing.
