Soviet weekly magazine Red Field, issue №11, 11 March 1928. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Constructivist cover has original painting done by R. Frentz, Soviet and Russian painter, watercolorist, graphic artist, illustrator, and art teacher, created specially for Red Niva. This issue is illustrated by such artists D. Moor, Russian Soviet artist, graphic artist, one of the founders of the Soviet political poster, Honoured Artist of the RSFSR; A. Deyneka, Soviet painter, monumentalist and graphic artist, teacher, professor. People's Artist of the USSR. Kukryniksy, creative team of Soviet graphic artists and painters, who worked by collective creativity. Numerous masterfully executed caricatures and cartoons, as well as book illustrations created in a characteristic caricature style. D. Kardovsky, Russian artist, illustrator and stage designer. P.Konchalovsky, Russian painter, a member of the Jack of Diamonds group. This issue contains story "Brown" by I. Sokolov-Mikitov, Russian Soviet writer and journalist, special correspondent; essay "Last emperor" by Yu. Vasiliev; article dedicated to 10th anniversary of Red Army; "Celebration of Red Army's anniversary in Berlin" by I. Gorkin; essay "Where the horses dance" by B. Romashov. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK", 110 000 copies. Fair condition, loss of material, tears and rubbings on the spine and on the margins, staining, dusting, minor bent of the corners. Small pencil handwriting on the top of the back cover. Some pages are detached or partially detached. Cancelled library stamp on the back cover. 20 pages.
