Pyotr Tchaikovsky (1840-1893) was a Russian composer of the Romantic period. He was the first Russian composer whose music would make a lasting impression internationally. The sheet includes romance Do not leave me / O geh nicht von mir mein Freund with the word by Fet, a renowned Russian poet, dedicated to Princess Elizabeth Tserteleva. Features Tchaikovsky's portrait. Published by P. Jurgenson publishing house, in the early twentieth century, the largest publisher of classical sheet music in Russia, 6 pages. Fair condition, pages are loose, stain, browning, pencil marks.
