Original vintage Soviet constructivist magazine Science and Technology Nauka i Tehnika #6 January 1930. Nauka i Tehnika was a monthly magazine on scientific and technical breakthroughs in the USSR. The cover features the photograph of the cableway at the construction of the Rioni Hydroelectric Power Plant Georgia, located at Kutaisi, Imereti, Georgia, the construction took place from 1928 to 1933. The issue includes articles about the development of the electrical industry in the Ural; the flight of Chukhnovsky, a Russian and Soviet pilot and Arctic explorer; the destruction of Carnegie, an American brigantine yacht, equipped as a research vessel; speed limits for cars; measurements of the speed of an aircraft; production of artillery; pedestrian tunnel under the river Spree; brand marks on ancient monuments in the south of the USSR; and other scientific news accompanied by illustrations and schemes. Published by publisher Krasnaya Zvezda, 25 pages. Good condition, the spine is loose, pencil marks, browning.
