Original vintage Soviet constructivist magazine Science and Technology Nauka i Tehnika #4 January 1930. Nauka i Tehnika was a monthly magazine on scientific and technical breakthroughs in the USSR. The cover features a photograph of the electrified oil pumping at the field in Baku in the name of Kirov. Sergei Kirov was a Soviet politician and Bolshevik revolutionary, in 1921, Kirov became First Secretary of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan, the Bolshevik party organization in Azerbaijan. The issue includes articles about the air routes of the Arctic in Svalbard and Wrangel Land; Gromov's flight in the Arctic,  Gromov was a Russian and Soviet military aviator, test pilot, and Hero of the Soviet Union; immunization against scarlet fever; portable house project; successes in the Soviet construction of power plants, machine-tool plants, electromechanical plant in Yaroslavl; demolition of buildings; scientific laboratories of the Soviet Union; various new inventions such as Celotex; history of the nautical instruments; famous figures of world science, such as Palladin, a Ukrainian biochemist, professor, and Soviet academician, Hermann Oberth, an Austro-Hungarian-born German physicist and engineer; and other scientific news accompanied by illustrations and schemes.
